If you are looking for an art-inspired birthday party without the messy clean-up, then talk to us.

Mess Matters birthday parties are totally unique. Your child and their friends will have one and a half hours of artistic fun in an open, large space.
And the best part? We deal with the mess when it’s all over!

Party Package

This price includes private venue hire, all art/craft, messy play activities, and staff members to help ensure that your children are having a wonderful time at Mess Matters.
There is no charge for adults.

How much does it cost?

$340 (for up to 15 children)
Plus $15 for each additional child (if you have more than 15 children)

The minimum cost of a party is $340.
The deposit payable is $150 to secure your booking.

What age group does a Mess Matters party suit?

Mess Matters parties are the ideal choice for children aged 2-5 years old.

How long do parties run for?

Parties run for 90 minutes.

How are parties structured?

‘The Mess Session’ runs for the first hour of your party.
At the end of the Mess session, your friendly party staff prepare the tables ready to serve food and cake.
We conclude your party with “Mess Bubbles” and we say good bye to all of your smiling guests!

What’s included in your party?

  • An endless supply and variety of art materials
  • At least two party facilitators on hand
  • A smock for each child & plenty of smiles.
    Smocks are provided for all children however we still recommend that everyone wears clothes that can get wet or messy.

Can I bring my own food?

You are welcome to bring your own food platters and cake.

It’s important that we ensure food does not enter the messy stations for health and safety reasons.

As such, we ask all children’s platters or food items remain covered until the mess session is finished.
We are a nut-free center – please ensure no nut products are in any food items.

What if I need to cancel?

We understand that sometimes circumstances mean you may have to cancel or re-schedule your function. If this is the case, you can re-schedule up until 3 weeks before your function date and the deposit will be transferred to the new date. The new date must be within 2 months of the original date.
If you need to cancel your function less than 3 weeks before the function date a cancellation fee of $150.00 is applicable. Any refunds of the deposits or charges are subject to a 2.5% processing fee.
